Mike Shirley's Statement on Roger Handberg's Much-Needed Ouster as U.S. Attorney
MIAMI -- The following statement may be attributed to Mike Shirley, who is currently in federal prison in Miami on made-up charges:
Roger Handberg's ouster as U.S. Attorney of the Middle District of Florida is a great day for the rule of law and ending the DOJ's recent history of political weaponization.
Handberg was a prime architect of the Biden regime's plot to smear Republicans and upset the 2022 and 2024 elections with bogus claims against Donald Trump, Ron DeSantis, Matt Gaetz, Ashley Moody, and many other Republicans both at the local level and in the national public discourse.
My freedom was stripped away from me through the same bogus claims Handberg pushed.
I call on Pam Bondi to install Anthony Sabatini as the new U.S. Attorney to fully undo the damage caused by Handberg and his cronies.
